Information We Collect

We collect personal information about potential employees, workers and contractors through the application and recruitment process, either directly from candidates or sometimes from a recruitment agency or background check provider. We may sometimes collect additional information from third parties including former employers and credit reference agencies.

What information do we ask for, and why?

We hold your name, contact details, and CV including education, qualifications, former employers and work history. This is necessary to assess your suitability for roles. It is in our legitimate business interests, and your own, to make sure we offer roles to the most appropriate candidates.

Pre-employment Checks

After we make a job or service offer, we may carry out pre-employment checks, including references and, for some roles, credit reference checks. These may include information from publicly accessible sources. Checks may also be conducted in countries outside of the EEA if you lived and worked there previously.

Once your appointment is agreed, we will use your personal data to send the job offer and employment or service contract to you. We will also notify any recruitment agency involved in your recruitment.

How We Use Your Information

Data Retention

We keep recruitment records for the duration of the recruitment process, and then no longer than 12 months for unsuccessful candidates. For successful candidates, personal data is carried forward into our employee or service provider file.

We will not disclose your data to any other party unless:
